Life requires us to do things—cooking, typing, fixing stuff, etc. We can get a lot of satisfaction from getting better at the things life requires of us. I developed a great dislike for cooking because of the constant and unending nature of the task, but I got pretty good at it. Now that I don’t have to do it all the time, I can occasionally enjoy it—especially if I am letting myself be creative in the process (no more tacos, pizzas, and sandwiches!). I think any task can be more enjoyable if there is an element of learning attached to it. Figure out how to do what you have to do better and with more enjoyment.
